Pilgrimage of Hope 2025

Below are photos from our Pilgrimage of Hope Tour of Rome and Italy from November 10, 2025-November 22,2025. On November 11th we safely arrive at Fiumicino Airport, Rome. We visited Saint Paul's Basilica outside the walls of Rome. We went through the Holy Doors and saw the Tomb or Saint Paul. On November 12th we attended the Papal audience at Saint Peter's Square. It was truly spiritually uplifting to see and hear Pope Leo XIV. We also visited the tomb of Pope Francis when we went to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major. On 11/13 we traveled from Rome to Naples by bus. On 11/14 we visited the Cathedral in Pompeii, the ruins of Pompeii and the antequerium. On 11/15 we left for San Giovanni Rotondo to visit the popular shrine or Padre Pio and we had the spiritual gift of participating a Mass at the old church. We prayed at the incorrupt body of Saint Padre Pio. On 11/16 we traveled to Lanciano and celebrated at Mass at the Chapel. On 11/16, after our Mass at Lanciano, we traveled to Assisi, the hometown of Saints Francis and Clair. We visited the front entrance of the lower church of Saint Francis of Assisi where the tomb of Saint Francis is and the place where Saint Francis of Assisi died. On 11/17 morning we left for Padua and on 11/18, we visited Venice. On 11/19, we visited the Shrine of Saint Anthony of Padua, my Patron Saint and celebrated Mass in one of the chapels at the shrine of Saint Anthony of Padua. Then we left for Montecatini and stayed there overnight. On 11/20 we visited Florence. On the 12th day, Friday 11/21 we returned to Rome and had a nice dinner.
