About the Speaker: Dr. Frederick Simmons is the J Houston Witherspoon Fellow in Theology and the Natural Sciences at the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton. Previously Assistant Professor of Ethics at Yale Divinity School,

Dr. Simmons will discuss Astrobiology and Augustinianism, an interesting and contemporary way to understand some basic aspects of Christianity and Science.

About the Series: Each month, Saint Luke Catholic Church presents the First Friday Lecture Series. Beginning with a wine and cheese reception at 7:00 p.m., we visit with an exceptional speaker and discuss current events and topics of national and international importance. The lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. First Friday lectures are free. Of course, good will offerings to the Parish Matthew 25 Fund are always welcome.
