Prayer
Lord, hear our prayer.
From Sacred Scripture: 1 John 5:13-15
I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.

Prayer in the Diocese of Bridgeport
Bishop Frank Caggiano, on Divine Mercy Sunday 2017, launched The Face of Prayer. This initiative is a way for youth, young adults, and adult Catholics to engage the Church on social media and learn about prayer. The faithful are encouraged to come together spiritually at the end of the day and pray together through posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, selfies from the faithful, as well as daily text message updates. Each of us, indeed, is the Face of Prayer!

In addition, Bishop Caggiano has asked that the Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel be said at the end of each mass.
PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
